Re: Oil Filter

he may have tightened a little too tight but as the engine heats up the bond between the filter and engine gets tighter, you need a small filter wrench you can get ones at wal-mart that fit on the bottom and you use a socket wrench to turn, thats probably your best bet, and for the love of your celica DO NOT BUY FRAM FILTERS!!! buy a good filter, not a crap fram, they are just tp tubes in a fancy metal can, get a wix or parts store brand filter

Re: Oil Filter

Thanks im gonna go buy a different filter wrench tommorow and i hope that does it. Also, i thought about a "performance" filter for my car today but the guy at advance said the only different between performance filters and normals ones are, "They are thicker and can handle more presure" and i quote that. With that being said i figured if that was the only difference then why pay $10 extra for the k&n so i bought the Premuim Fram for $6.

Re: Oil Filter

I have k&n for air filter...wont make a difference if I get fram, really, but when it comes to oil filter, I would definitely get OEM, bc I think the price is the same.

Re: Oil Filter

get a fram filter, cut it open and look at it, then get a wix filter and cut it open, the wix is 1000 times better then the fram in the orange box, if you get the one in the blue box, that sells for nothing, they are better then the orange boxed ones

Re: Oil Filter

btw in refereance to all this ari cleanre shit

how do you think that the k&n let "more air" into your engine other than usign a diffrent material?

by letting more shit get into your engine, its very unlikely itll happen but your more liekly sucking shit up with stuff like cone filters than a stock filter

i could create a filter that lets the most cfm in out of any of em, but the chances that ill suck up dirt and other crap are greatly increased
