hey, im owner of a 92integra ls and i found a leak of antifreeze from the block on the side where the pulleys located(driver side) from the lover or mid section....
did anyone had this problem before or anyone who know what it may be ? I NEED HELP, thank you ..... is it water pump? if it is, than how to replace it?

It could be a waterpump. I haven't owned a b18, but if they have a coolant pipe, that can also leak (not common though).
To remove the waterpump, you need to take off the timing belt, so take off the valve cover, remove the upper timing belt cover, and the lower one, then release the tension on the belt, remove the belt, replace the pump, and belt, reinstall the belt and make sure to tension corectly. It would be alot easier if you had even a cheap manual, besides, they have pictures which help alot. |
