Big problems with 96 Windstar
RF tie rod needs to be replaced (second time in 2 years)
engine mounts need to be replaced (second time in 4 years) serpentine belt worn oil leak - kind of a big one Just got two new tires and oil change and debating whether or not to fix the van, it's got 150K on it. We're looking at over $1000 of work in the shop. Any suggestions? |

I have a 95 Windstar that has over 185,000 miles on it. It's running strong. I myself put headgaskets in (the main reason why I got it) and rod bearings. I'm always looking for another vehical. I never buy new. I do the majority of the work on our vehicals. I hope some of this helps. Regards Dan |
