Headlights

Low beam on one of my headlights will not work. Have replaced bulbs and checked fuses. Anyone have any other ideas as to the problem?

Thanks for help.

I'm looking at the diagrams for a 98 but they should be the same. First check fuse 4 in the fuse panel to the left of your dash board. If it's good, you need to check the wiring. First start by verifying 12 volts on both sides of fuse 4 with the lights on.The wire that leaves fuse 4 is a white with a light green striped wire. From there it goes to a connector in the drivers side rear area of the engine compartment. This would be a primary spot for a wiring problem. Find it and check for 12 volts in and out of the connector. The wire is the same color code in and out. From there it goes to the bulb so check your connection there.
The same hot feeds the left and right bulb. They split into seperate fuses so if the right side is good we know we have a problem after the split. The high beam and low beam of the left bulb use the same ground. So if the high beam comes on and not the low beam, we know we have a good ground. Post back and let me now what you found.
