For several years I have been wedging a towel under my hatchback window to keep it up when loading/unloading my 1993 Rodeo, because the little shock absorbers are useless in holding up the rear window. I am ready to finally fix this annoyance, and my questions are:
where is the best place to buy 2 new lifters? how hard is it to replace them? Thank you to all in advance! Mitchell |

Re: Rear window falls
i know the jc whitney catalog has 2 latches that can be mounted on your existing bad window lifters. it is a fold down item that kind of works the same as on your home screen door closer mechanism. it stops them from closing. although you need to move them into position every time to keep open and move them when you want to close--it's a cheaper and easier fix.
on the other hand--jcwhitney.com has the new lifters for our vehicles. (you can use generic ones in its place)

Re: Rear window falls
to install, pop the clips out of each end. remove. install new ones. pop clips on new ones
