B&M SHIFT KIT

Will The B&m Shift Improver Kit Cherp The Tires When Going From 1st To 2nd Gears? What I Mean Is Will It Throw You Back In Your Seat? Could Anyone Who Has One In A Camaro Tell Me What You Think Of It? (1995 V6 Camaro Is What I Want To Put The Shift Kit In.)

Re: B&M SHIFT KIT

aside from 3.73's it's the biggest out of the box noticable change you can make to the dirve line, and yes, they do break free on shifts under mid throttle, round town driving.

Re: B&M SHIFT KIT

Which engine does your 95 have in it? The 3.4L or the 3.8L? I have one of these in my 94 3.4L and it definately firms up the shifts, I don't think it'll break the tires free on a shift though. However, a lot of people on the forum have said they don't like this product, but I haven't had any trouble with mine...

Re: B&M SHIFT KIT

I know, that's why I was saying maybe that's why it performs a little tamer on shifts is what I was getting at.

Re: B&M SHIFT KIT

No, it doesn't snap your head back. It just removes that hesitation when it shifts. I felt like there was a hesitation between gears and I didn't like it. I prefer firmer shifts, it means less slipping of the clutch plates and less heat. It does make a noticable difference though, I like it...

Re: B&M SHIFT KIT

Does anyone know about the B&M Transpak. Is that better than the shift improver kit. And do you need the shift improver kit first before you could install the transpak. If anyone has the B&M Transpak or knows about it tell me as much as you can. I have 3.4 v6 camaro I would like to put something in that you could cherp the tires or come close to it.

Re: B&M SHIFT KIT

as far as I know, the Transpak has everything the improver kit has and more. Look into a TransGo kit, you'll get better results. more of what you're looking for.
