porting......
ok now ive got my sl lightly modded and what not. not to much, but it can breathe good. now i want to add real power. i wanted a porting job done. now ive run into plenty of problems here. first off, i can port them for only 125 a head, but theres not a 'flowtest' place for hours, and thats hella expensive, any advise on that. also i heard that i should port my intake first, then the heads so im iffy there as well. lastly i need to worry about all the liitle "bitchy" parts that can cause delays, like makeing the valves bigger and what not. so yea, any advise is appreiciated. i live in south texas so any place near here where i can ship would be great, thanks.

Re: porting......
Might want to check the local texas section of 3si.org There are alot of members in that region that might know of some good shops, etc.
I honestly don't have too much knowledge when it comes to porting an polishing an NA 3S. One thing I do know is you might want to consider at least a little work on teh plenums, I believe they are cast, and have quite a bit of rough surfaces, etc. There is also a section in teh FAQ under the NA modding bible that has some info on porting/polishing, perhaps you can PM the member on 3si who wrote it and get some advice from him.
