Takumi lost to a Lan Evo first, his engine blew; he would of lost to if it didn't blow.

He beat the Evo after a new racing motor.

Well, in real life, I think the Evo would win hands down in most any measure of performance. The ae86 has light weight, so given an extremely curved downhill course such as Mt. Akina, the Evo would probably win given a good suspension setup.

For Takumi to win, he would probably have to pull his little trick of hooking the inside tire onto the side of the road, which would probably destroy him if it was in real life. So my money goes on the Evo.

That was a great race though :-)

You also failed that it was a Cat & Mouse Race. The Sil Eighty would of lost if it had enough room for another car to pass. No, the car is not gonna drive on side of the moutain to pass a car like in the trueno levin battle.

ae86

You guys think the ae86 is couldn't beat the evo.....but the fact is that it took first on the 2003 D1 Grand Prix USA. Power is not so important if you don't know how to manage it.

Re: ae86 vs. lancer evolution

Okey dokie... just from what i've read, you guys don't know jack shit.

as for the guy who said the ae86 won the d1gp, so what? it's not telling you anything. the d1 is based on style, never hp. the ae86, in real life, would be raped in mountain racing, unless you were crazy enough to race down some multiple corkscrews for 10 miles. And besides, ever wonder why people in thos cartoons were so damn impressed? he beat them with a crap box. the ae86 is known for it's lack of power and sudden bouts of oversteer, but the oversteer and light weight keeps it a popular drift car over in japan. it will not do as a normal racer, and it will have to stick to d1 and autox, where it's all about the handling, never the speed.

INITIAL D is NOT fucking real. get over it.

as for parts for the 86, you're gona hve to stick with jdm, b/c the 86 corolla wasn't much of a car in the US market. cheap project car, hard as fuck to buy parts for it.

Re: ae86 vs. lancer evolution

Ok now kids its time to stop watching cartoons and watch the Dr. Phil show. Maby he can help you with getting a little bit more grown up.

I mean dam, you all make fun of a movie(we all know which one). But atleast the cars are real, and it takes place in real life.

Now go drive your car around for a while and dont think about anything but driving. That will make you much more happier than watching a crappie cartoon.
