Please Help!

Is there a sensor that would cause a 7MGE engine to quit running? I put an engine back together with a new gasket set and a new HG. drove it for about a month and then it died while i was driving it. And now it wont start back up. Then engine still rotates, has spark, and the fuel line that goes into the top of the intake body squirts fuel well. Im stumped at what it could be.

Re: Please Help!

Check the MAF, and the cam pos. sensor. If they are fine start looking for broken wires.

Re: Please Help!

Behind the cam cover. There will be a magnetic pick up next to one of the cam gears. Don't forget to check your wiring. Especially the wires dealing with the ingition system.
