bose stereo issue

hey all

I have an 04 sierra with the 6 speaker bose system in it. My problem is that the head unit seems to work fine but i have zero sound. I have checked fuses and can't see any blown in the fuse box. Is there seperate location for a secondary fuse. I have checked to ensure that all plugs are tight and in place. Is there an easy way to check to see if it is the amp that has an issue??? any help would be great andthanks in advance.

P.S. taking it back to the dealer and getting them to fix it is not an option as it takes a week to get in to see them and I'm never in town and I also have 130,000 KMS on the beast already.
