Is a the frame on a 73 the same as a 76?

Hello Everyone,
I had a 1973 GMC JIMMY that I used as a snow plow around the yard, unfortunetly the motor finally died on that, I don't want to get rid of the snow plow so I was wondering if the body and frame is the same on a 73 Jimmy as as 76 Chevy 1/2 ton or Jimmy.

73 to 76 blazer and jimmy r all the same the change only took place when GM gave u foot room in the back seat...the frame rear rise is 10" back more from 77 to 91...other than that there more or less the same.......
