it depends on how much work you do to the block and head. im in the process of putting in a to4e turbo on my d16a1. one thing u will have to do is make sure you have the 89 electronics because that is obd0 and then get the obd0 to obd1 convert so u can run a new ecu and also so that ur distributer can be electronic advance. im plaining on runing a 90ish integra ecu with turbo edit that plugs into a laptop but stock internals u can easyly push 7-8 psi and if u get some block work done u can push 10-12 psi with out worry. check out this website its for the d16a1 turbo http://www.redpepperracing.com/forum...p?showforum=25 good luck with the turbo setup

Re: i need some info on d16a1
eldo ar rpr.com runs 13 psi on a stock EW2, it's a lot of psi however it's his daily driver and it's run fine like this since april or may this year.
