removing vibration damper bolt
93 quad4 SOHC. Any suggestions on getting the bolt broke loose from the damper? I have tried all I can think of. The book suggest using a breaker bar but there isn't enough room to use one. I've soaked the bolt with WD40 but that didn't help.
Any suggestions? |

Re: removing vibration damper bolt
You need a J-tool to hold the pulley from turning and you can then break loose the bolt. You can rent a J-tool from autozone, and then you should be able to get a medium sized bar in there to break it lose, after soaking several nights in wd-40, liquid wrench, and break-away.
