Removing 86 Fiero GT window

Anybody ever removed a GT passenger window? I want to replace the door trim that the window slides up and down against on the top part of the door (black fuzzy stuff). When I got the door panel off and started to remove the 5 screws that hold it in place I found the window doesn't go down far enough to expose the last 2 screws in the middle of the trim peice. Looks as though you must remove the window. Sand this is it only needs to drop another couple inches to reach the remaining screws so anybody knows I would appreciate it.

Alright This is some kind of fun but i know what your going through. You have two choices First you can remove the window. If you choose this one i'll wright you again to tell you how because the door skin has to come off and it's a bit of work to understand were all the screws are and how to work with it. The second is that they make a special screwdriver that can take those screws out without removing the window. I believe i have seen it on rodney dickerson's website. I think the address is www.rodneydickerson.com if that's not it then just search for something like "rodney fiero" and it should come up. Anyway Just tell me what you plan to do but the screwdriver is easier. I definately know I have removed EVERY body panel on that car. I wanted to paint it the correct way.....

Thanks
Dave
