Angry parking brake light

my parking brake light on my dash board comes on and off, is there a fuse that I can pull out to turn it off or is there a way to fix that?

Please help!!!!

On my 89, the return spring for the parking brake wore out and let the pedal drop enough so the switch would come on. As a temporary fix, I taped a spacer to the pedal so it would contact the switch until I later fixed the spring. You shouldn't pull the fuse, you won't know if there is a "true" brake problem then.

Did you check your brake fluid level? The light comes on when there is a problem with the brakes. Examples are low fluid level or worn brake pads (could be other things). Disconnecting the light will not fix the problem. It will only prevent you knowing about a potentially serious problem.
