3800 Engine block.
does anyone know where i can buy a bare 3800 block for the monte carlo? all i can seem to find is one for a camaro, im pretty sure they are diffrent somehow, maybe im over looking it?

From what I know, you should be able to put the block from the camaro L36 in the monte, the only difference between the FWD and RWD L36 is the intake and something else I cant remember, but its nothing major. The engines and blocks are the same though.
