H22a swap

Hey guys i just bought a 1995 prelude si with a blown motor, perfect for my H22a swap anyway i just wanted to know what my best options are to get the most power from that fire breathing h22. any help would be appreciated.

#1. Turbocharge -- Turbo, manifold, wastegate, intercooler, piping, complete ECU retune...

#2. NA -- High compression pistons, valves, springs, cams, complete retune...

Personally I enjoy natural aspiration, but if you are on a budget then a turbine is the way to go. Turbos are simple to install with the motor on or off, but an NA tune will need the engine out and apart. It is very easily to extract power from a turbo, I have seen examples in the high 12's from a simple turbocharger installation.

you'll need iron ductile sleeves in order to run forged pistons....cant forget that part.

OR you can run an h23/f22 crank with f22 rods and type S pistons. That should put you in the 12+ area in compression. Then a nice cam setup and you will be good to go.
