CarMax or similar

I have decided to get rid of my 99 blazer. Excellent condition throughout. I just had the Intake manifold gasket and thermostat changed along with oil filter and Antifreeze for 537 bucks.
I am done with the 500 dollars a visit in repairs it takes to keep this thing going perfect (125K miles). I guess there are thing I can put off but feel it is cheaper to fix them now and not later when unexpected.

Has anyone sold their truck to one of these places and was it worth it. I am thinking not having to list it and show it to people has a value to me.

Re: CarMax or similar

The biggest problem will be that you have a vehicle with over 100K on it. No dealership will give you more than $1000 for it, and that's if you're lucky.
I understand that finding a place to put your vehicle that people can see it is always a hassle. And then dealing with the appointments and negotiations isn't always fun. However, you will be more likely to get double or better from a private sale, and you will get to see who your baby goes to.
