Swap AM/FM Cass to Navi Possible??

Anyone know what would be involved in swapping out the AM/FM CD changer head-unit from my '01 for a factory '05/06 Navigation system?? Is it even possible??

Re: Swap AM/FM Cass to Navi Possible??

It would be much cheaper and much faster to use an aftermarket GPS/DVD/MP3/CD/SAT unit.

While the factory Nav unit would fit the dash, the DVD drive is in the trunk, so you'd have to run the cables for that and then figure out if the unit integrates into any other systems in the car (I think it uses the ABS sensors for vehicle speed, who knows what else...!) and how to make them talk.

Try Pioneer.
