Cold Air Intake In Winter?

hey i was wondering if u wqould recomennd taking the cold air intake off in winter when it is pretty damn cold out or would it not even matter if i left it on... like the other day it wqs like -20 out and it bogged alittle bit when it first started for like 3 secssonds but as pretty good after that... so what do u guys think i need helkpon this ne?

I dont think it was the intake that bogged you out. It had to be somthing different unless some how ice formed inside the piping in which case when it melted it turned out way badly. CAI's perform better in colder air hence the name cold air intake.

Well at -20 degrees you could have had a lot of problems to cause that bogging. Well maybe not a lot. But im just saying is not because of the CAI

yeah, a cold air intake doesnt "make" the air cold (or colder), it just gets the air from a location where the air is cooler, if its a true cold air intake the only problems winter might bring you is getting water in it, and that WILL cause some noticable problems
