2003 neon sxt interior removal

2003 neon sxt. i am removing interior to clean and dry rug. i can't seem to figure out how to get enough clearance to remove floor console. the biggest thing in the way seems to be the emergency brake lever. not enough room to move foward under dash.

sometimes if you set the brake (pull it all the way up) you willl have room to slide the console forward. if not, then Id say get a Helms manual.

No. Haynes and Helms are different. Helms is regarded as a better manual.

I guess the only thing is to keep on looking around and maybe you missed something?
