Camshaft and crankshaft......

Ok, i have a '97 cavy and its throwing codes for the camshaft positon sensor, and as i have been reading people have these codes then find out its something to do with an anti-theft something or other. I need to know what it is and how that part of it was fix. My car has been stuttering and then dies when it rains. It also idles hard when it is wet. I'm also looking to see if this camshaft positioning sensor is in a place that i can fix it myself......i need the help

the cam shaft sensor is located right above the crankshaft sensor. if you can get under car and identify where the coil packs are located the crankshaft sensor is located right below coils and the camshaft is to the upper right of the crankshaft. spuddering when it rains are is wet sounds more like a plug wire loose on coil packs
