'88-'89 prelude not getting spark?

Hello, I have been all over the place looking for help for my '89 Honda Prelude. The problem is it won't start at all, has never start since I got it really. It is not getting no spark at all it will crank over just not start up, me and my dad has replaced the Ignition Coil,Ignition Module and Crankshaft Positioning Sensor so far.. But it's doing the same as before. Is there anything else at all that would stop it from getting spark? The sparks look good so my dad said they shouldn't be the problem, when I got the car the engine had been rebuilt so were thinking the cams are out of sync but before we check we wanted to see if there was anything else at all that would possibly cause it not to get any spark at all.. Thanks.

Your cams out of time won't keep it from sparking. They will make it spark at the wrong time. How do you know its not sparking? Are you sure that its getting fuel. First get a spark tester, Check engine fire on every cylinder with a spark tester and nothing less. Autozone should have one faily cheap. If you still have no spark, check coil, cap, rotor, wires, etc. If all seem ok, check for an ecm fuse. See if the computer is sending signal to the coil. If the coil isn't getting power, Start chasing wires.(with a diagram) Check ignition fuse, and all fuses to computer and fuel system. Maybe there is a ground loose someplace. If you have a timing light, hook it up. You may be fireing, just at the wrong time. Adjust timing if necessary. Read manuel before doing any of this. It will tell you were the rellay, fuses, spout connector, are.

Oh yea, my dad was wondering for the crankshaft positioning sensor is there a certain position it has to sit at for it to work right? Or how ever you put it on will it be fine?

Main Relay, attached to the left side of the fuse box under the dash. That should fix the problem.

ckp sensor should have no continuity to a ground source. check the resistance values in your manual.

as for troubleshooting your crank problems:

check fuel, spark, cam timing, and ignition timing.
