Depends, a well done paint job should run about 1k.
What paint, and if there is any body work that need to be done, also depends on if you have the windows taken out of the car. Its not a cut and dry thing.

It also depends on if you do the prep work yourself. But check around different shops and get some quotes before you do anything.
