Front-end shudder

'91. Just replaced the front tires due to separation. Shook violently at hiway speeds. Now when I apply the brakes, any speed, the front-end shudders. Recently bought it, no idea as far as history of pads/rotors, bearings, etc. Thoughts?

Re: Front-end shudder

Classic symptom of warped rotors.
You could try to have them "turned', MEANING CUT DOWN WITH A LATHE, IF THERE'S ENOUGH METAL THERE. Sorry about caps.
