Depends on if he is interested in civilan cars or police cars.
For general info about the car or how to repair/maintain the car, select either the Haynes or Chiltons manual for the appropriate year Caprice. Both are informative; however, I perfer Chiltons because of the graphics and illustrations. There is also a book called 75 Years of Chevrolet; I've never read it, but I image its probably good, too. If he likes police cars, nothing beats Chevrolet Police Cars by Edwin J. Sanow. This book spans all Chevrolet police models from 1955 to 1996 with the end of the Caprice. Its currently out of print; however, used copies are pretty plentiful. |
