Truck cuts out during acceleration
My 1988 GMC 3500 3+3 crew cab dually starts and idles well, but as I accelerate it cuts out and spits & spudders. After I hit 3rd gear and push th egas pedal all the way down it seems as though the 454 is starving for fuel. I have installed new: fuel tank, sending unit, and fuel pump all of which was needed anyway.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks gbcdude! |

Re: Truck cuts out during acceleration
You're in the wrong area, but your problem is most likely a fuel pressure regulator.
