easy elantra starter removal?

1997 Elantra starter is bad. My question is : do any of you know SOME way to get to it. From what I can tell it's gonna be h*ll. I can't see the bolts or wires from above or below. So far (quick inspection) it seems I would have to remove the intake just to get a look at it. Any suggestions folks?
