gotta be under warranty. i tried but they said i was out of warranty even though i called them when i got the problem in 2001 and they sent me a letter 4 years later telling me about the defect. i STILL had to pay.

They do nothing out of courtesy. It's all about the money with them. I'm getting a Toyota or something ASAP.
