Tapping Noise By The Glove Box Area
Hello everyone,
Here's is my problem, when I turn on the ignition I have a 10 second tapping noise or thumping noise somewhere near the glove box, below it, on the right side of the truck. I have a 94 silverado 1500 extended cab. Any suggestions. After about 10 seconds it goes away and the truck starts up. Also, I appreciate it. I have to put my muffler back on since it fell off today. I used a accordion kind of extension pipe to run from the muffler to the tail pipe. What size diameter is the tailpipe and do I have to use the kind of extension pipe? Where can I buy a pipe where I don't have to pay out the back side? DOn't wanna go to midas if I don't have to. Wanna fix it myself. Appreciate the help. Terry |

As for the exhaust thing, just measure it yourself, and you can get some slip ons and small pieces of pipe and clamps from the auto parts store.
