You have to make engine mounts and find a way to get all the other shit to stay off the pave ment, its going to be very involved. You could always just buy a new wiring harness.
I know you dont want to hear this, but I'm not sure that you are adding everything up. Just the parts for that swap is going to cost LOTS of money. Then you will have a non working car for a few weeks while the swap happens, then you will have to work out the kinks and whatnot. Seriously, just go buy a car with an ecotec. My friend just bought a 03 with like 20k miles for $7500, they arent that expensive. If you sold your car and bought one with an ecotec, you will save some money and not have a car thats jimmy rigged together. Best of luck to you either way, but be sure to think it through, you will be looking at lots of time, lots of money, and LOTS of headache trying to put an ecotec in.

Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order.
