Elemantal Designs or PPI amps?
Noticed the Nine.1 amp on EDs site. 1200rms x 1 @ 1ohm. Thinkin about buying two of them. Are they worth it? I hear a little about ED on this forum but never had any experience with them. I have a PCX 2400 from PPI right now. I was considering buying another one to push the two SX 15s but they are soooooo big. I'm running out of ideas on an amp rack. With the EDs I can just mount them side buy side on my back seat. Anyway, tell my what ya'll think? Should I sell the PPI and buy two EDs or stick with what I have?

From what those guys were saying, and if i were in your position, i'd eBay the ppi and get them EDs, but thats just my oppinion. Hope you don't end up tearing out hair over this, but either way, u gotta nice set up there ![]() EDIT: my bad, they're praising subs. its late, i'm tired, w/e. Aside from that thread though, i was thinking of buying a nine.1 myself to power 2 eclipse 12's. i was looking at diff sites and their ratings on ED, and i almost bought it, but found a better deal on a Soundstream 880

Re: Elemantal Designs or PPI amps?
think im gonna do that. the EDs just have what i want and need. they are still plenty of power, fit where i want them, and are Class D vice the ppi Class AB. Now what subs. I still haven't ordered the SXs. I'm stuck between the RE SX 15 dual 2, the Avalanche 15 and the Brahma 15 dual 2. any ideas?
