2001 Tahoe Code 1404

I need some help diagnosing code 1404. My scan tool says it is a evap malfunction, correct? What are the potential causes?

The book I have says that a GM code P1404 is "EGR valve stuck open or circuit performance". Check the valve operation first.

I pulled the EGR, did not look bad but thoroughly cleaned and cleared code. We just finished up our Thanksgiving voyage of +600 miles and NO Codes. Normally would come on in first 10 miles.

Looks like this one is fixed!!! Thanks for the help.
