Brakes HOT?!? CLUNKing noise

I drove my car to the car wash after i got it back from the shop and it smelle dlike somethign was burnin i started to spray down my car and i sprayed the passenger side brakes and it steamed like crazy in 60degree weather i did the opposite side and nothing?? Why would it do this i assume that the passenger side brake is what i smelled...and wheni go in reverse and hit the brake kinda hard i hear a clunk and same if i put it back in drive and hit the brakes

It sounds like you have a sticking caliper causing the pad to be in contact with the rotor at all times. You will probably end up replacing the caliper and pads just to get the problem to go away. The steam was caused by the rotor being in the neighborhood of several hundred degrees and when you hit it with water the water flashed to steam. Be careful as this can cause the rotor to warp.

You better buy new rear caliper bolts and bushings too. The bolts have a tendency to seize in the bracket, and get pitted with rust. The bushings may be worn causing the clunk. Make sure you coat them with caliper slide lube to prevent this from re-occurring.
