2001 jimmy bose system
im looking to replace the bose system in my 2001 4 door jimmy. i searched on chuchfield but they dont have the info on jimmy's with the bose system, does anyone know if the brckets needed for an aftermarked headunit, and the speaker sizes are the same for jimmy's without the bose system?

I have not ever replaced a bose head unit but I could not see GMC making 2 different dashes for one year it makes no sense, the mounting should be just like any other gmc jimmy. I am pretty sure though that you need a slightly different wiring adapter to connect to it, you may not be able to pick one up at any old auto place so i would search around for that to make sure. As for the speakers easy way to anwser would be to look at what you have, get out the measuring tape and measure the diameters if you dont want to open everything up you can measure throught the grill just make sure you get close, and once again i dont see them making the install too much different from the non bose edition.

The mounting of the bose unit is the same as the normal unit... Dashes are the same...
