need help with missfire or jerking with rodeo

Its a 2000 rodeo and it misses or jerks at different times . If you let off the gas or accelerate it will stop. some days it doesnt do it and other days it is bad. It is also a 5spd.

sounds like ignition...might be your plugs or wires.
if not that then probably your fuel filter.

What engine, the 2.2L or 3.2L?? If it's the 2.2L the cam postion sensor is a common failure, for the 3.2L, a bad IMG would be my guess. Either way, scan for codes first!
