Re: power steering? 92 olds eighty eight

ok ive confirmed that its the power steering pump it started jerking badly at stops and such..
whats the best way to change it?? i noticed one bolt on top and one on the bottom which are going to be hard to get to and i do not have a pulley puller which i might need to use.

thanks for your help

Hey Atv. I Agree Maybe Problem With Pump Since Steering Wheel Seems Possessed But Dont See How That Can Contribute To Car Stalling. Idle Ok??

Re: power steering? 92 olds eighty eight

Two Months Ago Replaced Fuel Filter On My Wifes 97 Dodge Caravan(hate That Van Any Time Off From Work Usually Having To Work On It) Seemed To Run Better Except The Plastic Lines Only Snap Together And Little Plastic Lock Tab Supposed To Keep From Coming Apart.anyway Kept Coming Apart And Gas Pumping Out Under Van And Wife Mad Cause She Was 65 Miles Way And Had To Crawl Under Van 3 Times And Reconnect Before Getting Home. I Fixed It Same Night.snap Back Together And Duct Tape Around And Around. Seems To Hold Better Than Those Plastic Tabs!!
