Please help!!!!!!

good idle, seemingly no power to get up hills or highways speeds, also seems to me like the tranny isn't engaging the engine. 1997 z24 2.4ltr auto....... any ideas for a fix to this????

the two lights which are on sometimes and off sometimes, are the ets light off lite and the check engine lite, they come on together and go off together so they must be connected some how

today the rpm gauge went from 1200 rpms up to 4200 rpms and while driving the rpms flucuated between the too with no change to the pressure to the gas pedal
