got my car to the track and kc can finally quit his b*tching lol

unfortunately it was only a 1000ft track... my best was a 11.27 at 96.2. i made 10 runs. i would post the slip but i don't have a digital camera, plus my camera phone isn't letting me send pics to email addresses... my reaction time sux, i was usually over a second... i did have one run where i got a .52 reaction, but i got on it too hard in second and was sliding all over the place so i ended up with an 11.8 on that run... my 60ft times were all around 2.2 sec... so that can use some work too (and i need better tires). i was running very close to race only cars (trailered out there/trailered back) and in fact trapping sometimes 5mph faster than they where.... i need some sticky tires and some practice and i could get into 10 sec 1000ft... which idk how fast of a 1/4 that would be...

funny thing is you're supposed to where a helmet if you run faster than 11.5... and i don't have a helmet plus no one said anything to me lol

weird, i never heard of a 1000' track. anyway 320 more ft and you'll have quarter mile. so i'd say you easily have a hight 11 to low 12 second car.

yea, that's just my best educated guess. 320ft is just a bit longer than a football field, so at the speed you're going at 1000' which is also still increasing, I just guessed the approximate amount of time it would take to travel that extra 320'

Nice, now get some sticky tires and work on your suspension a little to knock those 60's down to the 2.0-1.9 range and get out of the 3.8l time range (that range would be 16.0 at worst and currently 11.8 at best)

the tires are goodyear eagles that have been on the car for over 2 years... they spin real easy and it makes it so i can't even put the pedal to the floor till somewhere around 60mph...

my rear suspension is all spohn adjustible parts: torque arm, lower control arms, and panhard rod... so the suspension is fine i really just need some quality rubber... and practice...

hey... I'm glad you finally are at competition status on your project. I'm excited to see how much faster you get.

but damn! 1 second reaction time! you really gotta work on that.
