Automatic Transmission Problems - Help
Hello,
I have a 1990 MX6... it will start and run/drive just fine for about 10 min until it warms up good... and then the transmission starts to slip and makes noise like a power steering pump will if it's low on fluid. I'm not sure what to think.... Help... I could use some suggestions.... Thanks |

Take it to a transmisson shop and have them powerflush the transmission. If it's slipping, it sounds like the tranny has been romped on too much and the bands are shot when they warm up. Also, you can get a better tranny fluid cooler to help prolong the coolness of the fluid to reduce risk of slippage.
