1992 sentra XE

Can anyone give me some guidelines as to what I might look for as potential problems. I can buy a 1992 sentra for $300.00. the body is intact as is the interior, but it smokes a bit. I may grab it anyway, it has 4 new tires that will fit my toyota and 4 good speakers and a decent radio. but it runs good too?
