highbeam out light

hey guys, i have a few questions about our impala..

my dad always flashes his high beams at people who dont use their turnsignals.

well, when we put the highbeams on, the highbeam out light always turns on.

Also, when we got home, my dad was moving the light switch in and out, and the lights just stayed on.. so i have no idea what was going on there, if the daytime running lights were on, or the headlights were on.. who knows.

also, my dad said one time going to work, his lights just went out on him, but he forgets what he did to get them back on.

these arent huge problems, but i was just wondering what was wrong with it, or if anyone has had problems like this before?

These cars are full of electrical nitemares. And the dealers have all kinds of expensive reasons why. They will have you just keep changing parts until your broke or you surrender and get rid of it.
