WON'T START - fuel problems - '91 c3500

I have a '91 chevy P/U c3500. I had hard starting problems a few months ago and changed the plugs, wires, fuel filter, and dist. cap. It seemed to run ok until last week then I was unable to start it again.

I just changed the fuel pump, relay, and checked relay fuse. Well still no start. when I turned the key on I hear a click in the fuel tank but no "whirrring" sound.
I opened fuel line in front of filter and gas is getting to this point but no gas is making it to the injectors when I try starting.
I'm lost for a solution. I'm thinking it's electrical now.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Do a pressure check on fuel pump-should be putting out 9-13 psi. Cold be something wrong with fuel pump installation-loose hose bad pump?

fuel relay

Hey if the pump isn't whirring I would suspect the fuel relay circuit first (easiest thing to check). Look in your schematic in your haynes or chilton and find the output power wire from the fuel relay. Check this for voltage. Or check the wire going to the fuel pump for voltage. Also, check the ground at the relay (I think it is black) for continuity WHEN STARTING. If the relay has ground and voltage it should work.

Your post is unrelated to this thread, you should start a new thread on this issue, what you did is not a fix, if the nut was loose or the r and p had too much back lash something is wrong in the diff, there is a crush collar that preloads the pinion bearings, this has to be set up using an in/lb torque wrench.
