Kurt Busch done for the year!

Yes, I love it! Kurt Busch was suspened by Rousch Racing for the remainder of the season starting with today's PHX race. It's only 2 races though. We'll see what Busch's 2006 owner(Penske) says on Wind Tunnel tonight.

Busch was pulled over for speeding(60 in a 45) officer detected alcohol on his breath. Busch refused sobrity test & was taken to the track were the cops have a temp. facility. Breathalizer failed(bs) and Busch was only sited with wreckless driving.

You would think some one who drives for a liquor sponsor and a beer sponsor next year will be more careful. I guess not.

KURT BUSCH you are officially an IDIOT! not that I didn't know that before. I have no respect for anyone that drinks and drives.

bullshifter, I couldn't agree with you any more. He is a certified jackass. Interestingly today on Countdown to Green, Penske is 100% behind him and is still looking forward to him racing next year. And then to really make matters even more interesting, Kyle Busch "is 100% behind Kurt" he said after the win. Kurt Busch is another Terrell Owens, a talented athlete w/ cottage cheese for brains. Guys like these two morons don't deserve to be in team sports, at all. They need someone to beat the hell out of them, badly, maybe then they'll realize that they need to grow up and be more mature about themselves. And I don't want to hear this garbage that they're competitors and they want to win. In NASCAR, they are 43 guys on that racetrack that want to win just as much as he does, the exception is that Kurt is stupid and will wreck anyone to win. You can be competitive and yet be a team player. You can race clean and still be respected and remembered. I wish Jimmy Spencer did more than just punch him in the mouth a couple of years ago, he should've beat him down to a bloody pulp, then he'd wake up from his retardation slumber.

Bad move for Jack Roush...taking your driver out while he's right in the middle of the chase, are you fucking kidding me? I don't care if he got arrested, I sure as hell wouldn't replace him with someone like Kenny Wallace based on some ridiculous traffic violation...people make mistakes...did Joe Gibbs make Tony Stewart sit out when he socked a camera man? There's a real WINNER right there, but he didn't get suspended for shit. I mean come on, Scott Wimmer is drunk, hits some one, crashes and runs and hides under his bed and he's racing at daytona 2 weeks later...nobody is perfect. IMO, Kurt was treated unfairly by Roush Racing...their loss.

It started for me when he called Jimmy "Mr Excitement" Spencer a "has been, a never was or a never will be" . I’m was not a big Spencer fan but for some reason that just rubbed me the wrong way.

Obvously people who aren't fans of 97 driver Kurt Busch are going to be throwing out comments like this. How many people have drank at least one beer and then went and drove over the speed limit? I know he's a motorsports "athlete" so it's different. But as stated, people make mistakes. I cannot believe what gets written sometimes.

Roush was just tired of dealing with him and saw this as a convenient out to not have to put up with him anymore. He's the one who made him have to do all this ride shuffling and made Mark Martin have to come back next year. Kenny Wallace was chosen because he's experienced and his practice notes will actually be beneficial to the team.

Kurt Busch was in 9th or 10th place before he got canned. Not like he had a chance to win it in the last two races.

After seeing many interviews and reading some stuff as usual it was blown out of the water as the media normally does. The sheriff sounds like he thinks his shit don't stink like Kurt Busch. Either way Crown Royal pays Roush to pay Kurt, Crown Royal wanted him gone just as much as Roush.

In order to have hard liquor sponsors in NASCAR the teams MUST promote drink responibly. I'm sure Kurt's contract "moral clause" has VERY specific guidelines on this.

Kenny was a great replacement for many reasons, he's close to the same size. It's not like the car has power seats to adjust to anyone. He has a lot of experience and a clean record.

What's that supposed to mean? Kenny Wallace is a damn good driver. I think this whole thing got blown out of proportion...as does everything concerning famous people. What he did was perhaps arrogant and rude, but everyone makes mistakes, that sheriff wasn't just stating the facts he was attacking Kurt in his statements, it seemed like he wanted to bust him because he was a racecar driver. I agree with Mr. Penske, I believe it was a mistake to suspend Kurt for the last 2 races, but it's Jack's team, so it's his decision. It'll be interesting/weird to see the Miller car piloted by Kurt Busch next year.

dude im not a huge jurt busch fan but seriously, this thread is rediculous. He doesnt wreck people all the time, in fact he hardly ever does. If you want to complain about someone wrecking people all the time talk about jimmie johnson or tony stewart. As much of a jackass as kurt may be he is still a damn good race car driver. his problem may be that he knows it a lil to well.

what do you mean smoke wrecks people? I agree w/ the Jimmie Johnson thing, he's just another Jeff Gordon. But Smoke, when was the last time he wrecked someone? If you're referring to the incident at Martinsville a month ago between him & Biffle, Smoke never wrecked Biffle, he was just simply trying to get around him to catch the leader. Biffle being a lap down was in his way. Plus Biffle never wrecked, just a bump 'n run, they do that all time in NASCAR, so why is Smoke any different. I'll defend Smoke anyday b/c he's a real race car driver.

I remember that he gave jeff gordon a love tap that sent him into th ewall earlier this season, but i can't remember which race. To be fair though gordon was much slower, blocking, and is jeff gordon so no one cares.

No one said anything about Busch wrecking people until you brought it up try reading it again.
