wow there is DSM love
i finally got the 92 gs working well i drove about 4 hours to northern PA to a junk yard to look for a stock turbo... well i didnt find one so i was walking out empty handed as i was walking out a guy with a 2g asked me what i was looking for in the yard and i said a stock turbo,, he was like dude ill give you my turbo off my old 93 gs,,, so i follow him back to his house and i got a stock turbo and 4g63 motor w/ 108,000miles on them for 50-bucks....
after selling my civic i thought i would never see love like honda love but i guess im wrong maybe there is a little DSM love out there...

Damn thats a sweet deal. Are you going to swap the 4g63 in, or just turbo what I'm assuming you have a n/t.

Some of the junk yards around here (pick-n-pulls) dont keep inventory on their cars. Maybe that the case with him. But i wouldn't drive 4 hours to a junk yard that I wasn't even sure what they had either. lol

That is an awesome deal congrats!!!
I know of a junk yard around here that if you ask them for an engine for a 2004 Dodge Viper they would say "yeah and that will be $550 and it won't be out until monday so call us on monday. I'll also need the money now before I waste my time pulling it out only for you not to pay". Of course they don't have that engine nor car in there junk yard but they still claim to have the part and expect the money up front. Then they beat you around for 3 weeks until they finally give you a part they claim is the right one which is clearly not. This all happened to me when I went there to get a tranny, first they gave me a turbo tranny for a non-turbo car after 2 weeks of waiting then they finally gave me the right one after a total of 3 weeks of waiting. The bonus is that when they gave me the turbo tranny they forgot to get that back from me so I still have that one so if anybody needs one, I don't know the condition but if you need a donor tranny or want to give a try anyways, let me know and you can just have it.
