Yes
The current model will lead into mid next year when it will be overtaken by a much better looker. Thats why there cheap.

the STi will be priced about $32k and will have very few options if any. the good news is that you can find a used wrx with around 18k miles on it for about $20k. then i would go to www.vishnuperformance.com
for $1k you can have a WRX that is faster than an STi and is around $10k less exspensive. just so you know, that makes a $200 difference per monthly payment if you finance for 5-years.

why are you so interested in the STi?
there has been no exact release date as of yet, but it should be out for model year 2004. i've said this before, but i'll say it again, you can get a better deal by tuning a regular wrx. see my above posts.

Man, I can't wait. I have been trying to decide on a car for awhile. I think I may have found my choice, now I just gotta hold off buying somthing else until the STI comes out.

Why interested in the STI. It's all about the red stitching. Red stitching makes it all worth it, adds 10 hp you know.

One advantage to the STi, is that all of the components on it (tranny, block, head, valves etc.) Will be beefed up and made to handle a lot more torque and HP than the normal WRX Impreza's. Plus they are really nice cars!
