Question heater core replacemnt

We are going to replace the heater core in my son's s10 blazer. any shortcuts or pit falls i need to be aware of. The biggist issue seems to be access to the core from the interior. Any help or suggestion that will keep this from being an all day job would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: heater core replacemnt

That link is very helpful if you are doing a 1997 or earlier. It is NON-HELPFUl if you are doing one newer though. I'm still looking at how to get my box out of a 2000.
