05 focus zx4 cd error

I am working on a focus for a friend. The 6 disc cd player doesnt work. it reads error and wont take the cd. radio works fine. Any ideas?

well if its an 05 then its under warrenty, i'd take it to the dealer

It isn't under warranty, He bought the car wrecked at auction and I am putting a new front clip on it.

Happened to me, i had to take the 6 disc appart get my cd's, put it together again and eventually put a remote 10 disc changer in the back.
