follow up question

Was the head gasket problem that seems to be prevalent in ventures ever been solved by GM. If so when ? I am looking to buy another van (used) but will steer clear of ventures if this problem still persists . I prefer to buy American if possible. Why no recall by GM, I see a link on this site for a possible class action suit, which I sighed. Thanks again!!!

Re: follow up question

2003 and newer vehicles should not have the intake manifold gasket leak. Older vehicles may or may not have a problem, or if they have been fixed since about mid year 2002 they should be fine (gasket was redesigned then). I wouldn't hold my breath on the class action lawsuit.
