fuel tank line connectors

I am having trouble getting my fuel lines off they seem to be push on connectors is there a special tool to release the connector? help

I had to replace my fuel sending unit in the tank. i called and got prices only to find out that you do need a tool for removing the lines.
So i just paid someone to do it.
